Welcome to The STEAM Bridge School—a community built on a strong foundation of care, creativity, and high expectations. My name is Gidget Rivera, and I am honored to serve as Principal of this incredible school.

I believe deeply in the power of rigorous, joyful learning. Our students deserve classrooms where they are challenged, supported, and inspired every single day. At STEAM Bridge, we are committed to ensuring that every child experiences meaningful instruction, rich opportunities to think deeply, and the encouragement to take intellectual risks.

Families are essential partners in this work, and you are always welcome here. Your voice matters. Our staff's voices matter. And most importantly, our students’ voices matter. Together, we are writing the next chapter of this school’s story, one grounded in collaboration, trust, and a shared belief in what our children can achieve.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

OUR VISION

We believe and inspire to create an educational atmosphere for ALL students to engage in curricula that embeds discourse, multi-facet engagement, differentiated instruction, and rigorous opportunities within the learning.

Discourse – Having significant communication skills is critical, valuable in the workplace and in our lives. Having collaborative discussion will allow our students to work together on existing and new ideas/inquiry, which will provide opportunities for input and feedback. As a result, our students will assume shared responsibilities and contribute to accomplishing common goals in meaningful and respectful ways.

Multi-Facet Engagement- Students show their thinking and learning in a creative and expressive manner. The teacher plays the role of a facilitator as students take ownership of their learning. Students use accountable talk, academic vocabulary, to challenge one another’s thinking. Through daily problem solving, synthesizing of information and exploration, students will experience learning in new and remarkable ways.

Differentiated instruction – Each student has a unique learning style and interest. We provide students with varying avenues and opportunities for learning. Through continuous data driven instruction, we address various learning needs and develop personalized instruction so that ALL students can learn effectively.

Rigorous Opportunities – By providing a set of intentionally aligned components, we create learning outcomes that offer engaging experiences and instructional strategies into an organized sequential unit of study. This serves as a road map to high quality teaching and learning.
